ASSOCIATE CHIROPRACTOR OPPORTUNITY — ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Build Your Career With the Right Support Around You

Goodwood, Adelaide · Onboarding from December 2026

More Than Your Next Chiropractic Job

Join an established Adelaide chiropractic practice with 28 years of experience, working alongside Dr Paula Stacey-Thomas and a collaborative team committed to corrective care, wellness and long-term patient outcomes.

At The Chiropractic Domain, we’re looking for the right chiropractor, not simply a particular level of experience.

You might be a new or recent graduate looking for strong mentoring and a supportive environment to build your clinical confidence. Or you may already have experience in practice and be looking for a collaborative team, a similar practice philosophy and an opportunity to continue growing.

Our clinical approach is centred on corrective care, long-term function and wellness, rather than purely short-term symptomatic care. We value helping people understand their health, improve function and build greater resilience over time.

Either way, you won’t be expected to figure everything out alone — and you won’t be treated as though you’re starting from scratch.

We offer structured support, established systems and hands-on mentoring where you need it, while giving you increasing autonomy as your confidence, experience and patient base grow.

If you value evidence-informed chiropractic care, genuine patient relationships and a proactive approach to health and wellbeing, we’d love to hear from you.

What’s it really like to join The Chiropractic Domain?

Hear from Dr Jo Dee about her experience working within the practice, the support and mentoring she received, and what she valued about developing as a chiropractor within our team.

Strong Systems. Support to Grow.

You’ll work within an established clinical, communication and practice-management model developed over nearly three decades in practice.

A key part of the role is providing consistent, high-quality care across the practice, so patients understand what to expect regardless of which chiropractor they see.

Depending on your experience and development needs, support may include:

→ hands-on adjusting feedback
→ case discussion and end-of-shift debriefs
→ patient communication coaching
→ reports of findings and progress reviews
→ shared-care handovers
→ documentation and practice-flow systems

For newer chiropractors, this provides strong, repeatable foundations and structured mentoring. If you already bring experience, the focus is on helping you integrate confidently into our shared-care model while valuing the clinical strengths, personality and perspective you bring to the team.

Practise. Rehearse. Refine.

Confidence and consistency are built through repetition, feedback and preparation.

You’ll be encouraged to refine both your clinical and communication skills — from technique and patient education to reports of findings, recommendations, difficult conversations and effective shared-care communication.

Support and feedback are part of the culture here, but this is not a passive role. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their development and contributes positively to the team.

We value:

→ coachability
→ initiative
→ reliability
→ humility
→ a genuine team mindset
→ care for patients and colleagues
→ willingness to prepare and keep developing beyond patient-facing hours

Remuneration, Security and Professional Growth

This is a permanent part-time position at approximately 0.8 FTE, plus superannuation.

Remuneration includes a secure base salary, with the applicable classification and rate determined under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award based on the successful applicant’s qualifications, training and relevant experience.

In addition to the base salary, there will be opportunities to earn performance-based commission or bonuses as the associate builds their client base, contributes to practice growth and takes on increasing responsibility.

This structure provides financial security while also recognising and rewarding performance, professional development and contribution to the practice.

Considering a move to Adelaide? We’d love to hear from interstate chiropractors, and relocation assistance may be available for the right applicant.

The preferred commitment is approximately two years, giving both the associate and the practice time to build strong patient relationships, develop continuity of care and create a meaningful long-term contribution within the team.

Who Will Thrive Here?

This opportunity may suit:

→ a final-year chiropractic student
→ a new or recent graduate
→ someone whose first associate role did not provide the mentoring or structure they expected
→ an experienced chiropractor whose clinical philosophy and practice ethos align with ours
→ an experienced chiropractor who is comfortable integrating into an established shared-care model while bringing their own strengths and experience
→ someone open to relocating to Adelaide
→ a chiropractor who values teamwork, shared care and structured development

This role is best suited to someone who can work within a consistent practice model while bringing maturity, initiative and their own strengths to the team.

It may not suit someone who wants to practise independently from the clinic’s systems, is unwilling to adapt their approach, or prefers to work separately from the wider team.

Expressions of Interest Are Open

Formal onboarding is planned from December 2026, but we would like to begin getting to know prospective candidates now.

This may include an introductory conversation, a clinic visit, meeting the team and early preparation for a smooth transition into the role.

You do not need to have your entire career mapped out before making contact.

You do need to be genuinely interested in learning, contributing and building strong professional foundations.
